MOMENTUM BUILDS AS LASER TOOLS RACING WITH MB MOTORSPORT HEAD TO SNETTERTON

Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport are back in action this weekend as the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship heads to Snetterton, Norfolk for round three of the season.

Fresh off a strong showing at their home race at Brands Hatch Indy in their WSR-run BMW —where Jake Hill secured his first pole position and victory of the 2025 campaign—the team now turns its focus to Norfolk for the third round of the season.

Arriving at Snetterton full of focus and intent, Jake currently sits third in the Drivers’ Championship standings with 80 points, just 12 points behind the leader and will be looking to replicate his success at the circuit from 2024.

Snetterton’s 2.97-mile layout offers one of the most technical challenges on the calendar, featuring a mix of long straights, tight hairpins, and complex corner combinations. It’s a circuit that rewards a well-balanced car and a confident driver, and one that has delivered plenty of good memories in recent years, with Jake securing pole position and a brace of race victories there in 2024 on his way to his maiden championship title.

This weekend, Jake Hill will pilot his WSR-run BMW 330i M Sport, and the team will need to skillfully manage his TOCA Turbo Boost (TTB) deployment. Due to his third-place championship standings, he will have only 5 seconds per lap of TTB available during qualifying—deployable at a minimum speed of 135 KPH—and 3 laps of hybrid usage permitted in the opening 12-lap race on Sunday.

Round three begins on Saturday with two free practice sessions followed by qualifying at 15:10, which can be watched live on the ITV Sport YouTube channel. All three races take place on Sunday, with live coverage available on ITV4 and online at ITVX. Sunday’s triple-header races are scheduled to start at 11:30 (BST), 14:20, and 16:55 respectively. Live timing for all sessions is available here.
