Diamondbrite Rainscreen dramatically improves visibility in tricky wet weather driving conditions. Using Rainscreen rain repellant on your windscreen is the best way to improve your view of the road ahead at all times of the year – when water and rain comes into contact with treated glass, perspex and clear plastic surfaces it causes it to bead, forming into small droplets. Natural airflow then quickly forces these water droplets away, reducing the frequency of windscreen wiper use and ensuring a clearer view of the road ahead making it a considered choice for the safety conscious motorist.
Diamondbrite Rainscreen is especially useful during the colder months. Alongside its extreme hydrophobic properties, stopping rain from blurring driver’s vision, Rainscreen also effectively repels sleet and snow, and it reduces the ability of frost, ice, salt, mud and dead bugs to stick to windscreens. That means it is far easier to keep your screen clear during winter when precipitation is more common. And here’s something you might not have considered, Rainscreen can also be useful at home, it is also suitable for clear glass shower doors – repelling water, water marks and soap and shower gel stains.
Applying Diamondbrite Rainscreen is extremely straight forward, just a small amount is required, it is applied to surfaces using a clean, dry, cloth. When wiping onto glass using a firm overlapping motion, a slight haze forms, re-application to ensure complete, uniform coverage should follow before buffing clear with a clean microfibre cloth. Following these steps ensures the correct application of Rainscreen allowing it to perform at its best.
Diamondbrite Rainscreen has been specially developed in the UK at Diamondbrite’s dedicated 45,000 square foot research, testing and manufacturing facility set in the heart of the Midlands in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Its unique formula has been arrived at by experts – laboratory technicians who are specialists in developing high performance car cleaning products.
Diamondbrite has tested Rainscreen in some of the most extreme conditions imaginable. Through Diamondbrite’s association with the Honda Racing British Touring Car Championship Team Dynamics squad, Rainscreen has been tested in a high speed professional motorsport environment where tenths of a second matter and every little thing helps. When the track ahead is wet and spray is hanging in the air from a packed grid of racing cars, Diamondbrite Rainscreen keeps everything in focus giving drivers Matt Neal and Dan Cammish a valuable advantage.
