Following the London Marathon at the end of April, we decided to catch up with Lance Boseley, our Marketing Manager, to replay the day's events and find out what inspired Lance to run in the first place.

Lance was the only team member to take part in this year's Marathon, with two running mates dropping out due to unfortunate injuries. After the Marathon, we caught up with Lance and he said; “Absolutely delighted to finish the London Marathon today in exactly 4hrs 30mins. Did the first 13 miles in 2 hours then cramp hit at 20. A great atmosphere and thanks to everyone who has supported me, particularly my better half Sarah for coming up to support me. Also thanks to her sis Clare for being there as well. Great to see my Hawkinge Hurricane friend Marie and daughter on the route, Also good to see my friend Nigel Hidson at mile 22. Well done to Nigel Hales, Mike Davies and Toni and Kevin Blackman for finishing. Not forgetting Dan Newman for doing it in 3hr 40 mins in full football gear and boots! Great achievement. Now I am going to have a nice hot bath and look forward to getting my life back!”.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and shared their support, as well as people who generously donated. You can watch our recap video below for more information.
